One thing about me is I love a video game adaptation, but the difference between this and say, The Last of Us , is that I had no experience with the League of Legends game before watching season one of Arcane. As I sat down to watch the final act I feared these feelings would be thrown aside as playful queerbaiting, but instead I was met with a serious queer relationship that blossomed into something meaningful and unexpected, with Vi and Caitlyn confiding in one another despite the differences that define them. Yet part of me feels like the best is yet to come, or a more intimate rendition was being held back until the second season rolls around.
